Hey everyone,
I know a few people have a greenhouse and I was wondering if anyone has controls (basic or advanced) for their greenhouse? If so what kind and how much?
I'm thinking about doing an indoor greenhouse but still use greenhouse controls, not 100% sure yet

Hey Justin, I just set up a grow tent and you may have seen the photos on OCPS. Not sure how large your thinking for a greenhouse but my tent is 6.5' x 6.5' x 6.5' and Im using an ultrasonic humidifer, normal table fan, and flexible ducting with another fan to blow cool air in. I just ordered a hygrotherm to control heat and humidity which should be here next week. Right now im using a Herpstat to control the fan in the duct to blow cool air in when the temperature reaches 75F, and turns off when it gets to 74.5F. The main fan is on 24/7 full blast which is right behind the humidifier that is on its lowest setting. During the day humidity is about 65%-70% and at night is around 85%-90%. Humidifier runs 24/7 and lasts about 36 hours before needing a refill. These are definitely a far cry from true greenhouse controls, but does the trick in my application and costs less than $300, which means more money for plants Andrew

Andrew, I did see your setup, it looks pretty awesome!
I set up something similar to your setup in my basement. Its basically just a poly-house with 3 4-bank T-5's and 1 6-bank T-5. I have a small 6-7 inch fan and a large 14 inch fan going 24/7.
I find that when growing under light its just easier to use timers instead of controls and just adjust the timers. When I first came up with the idea up useing a greenhouse control I thought it would work better haha but alas greenhouse controls should be used for real greenhouse haha
I'll take some pictures of the setup and add them over the next week. Please feel free to post your setup!

I will try and post some photos next week sometime. Yes I use timers for the lights as well and adjust them accordingly. Works great until you realize the timer has been stuck on for however long (just bought new one yesterday hah).
Would love to see your set up and photos of plants.
Andrew
