I put together a group order together and we order from Asiatic Green and after much effort our plants came today So here is a few snap shots of the before and after. Hopfully nothing dies on me because I was too poor to buy two of everything I'll keep everyone updated on how their doing. I did order some Neps but I added pictures on OCPS

Very nice, I would love to order from them but importing into the US has proved to be a pain for me. What is the one on the second from left on the bottom of the first pic?

Oh I know the pains My boss helped me do so much of the paper work and he imports stuff all the time. The inspectors know him as well so there wasn't any problems there either. That guy is Bulb. anceps, I've never had a harder time potting something up. It was clearly growing on a mount/tree and was growing around it. So the root where on the side of the bulbs and not the bottom. Had to do some compromising for that one

Justin your plants look fantastic, much better than some imports. Seeing how nice everything looks makes me wish I had ordered more. LOL
I had my first Bulbo anceps potted and it did not seem to like it much. This time around seeing as I have the orchid case I think I will have better luck growing mine mounted.

I have most of mine in expanded shale now, it's on the heavy side but doesn't break down and holds moisture very well without staying wet... I hate moss and bark with a passion!

Oh that's good to know, Maybe I'll take it out and mount it than. It's rather large to mount and keep in my tanks but I think I might do it anyways.
How can you hate moss?!?!?!? It's such a wonderful thing haha although I would imagine being that far south makes for a VERY different growing environment eh?

Well I should say I hate growing in moss. I have a mini live moss collection actually. Summer is starting to crank up here and within the next month or so it'll be 100+ F and throw in a range of 15%-90% humidity that can swing and change in a day. It's havoc because I just have a small kit style greenhouse, I have to adapt by running a mist system several times a day which then leads to rot and mold problems. One of these days I won't be renting and I'll get to build my own...

haha Well man you've learned to grow with what you've got and what you’re saying makes so much sense. If you had to run a system like that and had stuff potted like I do you would have big problems I REALLY know what you mean about renting too. I live in a residence right now and It’s not really the greatest place for growing lol Good thing Bulbo's are forgiving!

The above phote, second plant from the right in the bottom line. I'm quite positive that is it hamelini, it's one of the very few bulbos with turtle shell like bulbs. It has come quite common on the market this last year,

Justin your plant is Bulbophyllum anceps. Bulbophyllum hamelinii is from Madagascar where as Bulbo anceps is from Asia where we got the plants from. Bulbophyllum anceps has a single leaf per pseudobulb where as Bulbo hamelinii has two leaves per growth. If you ever go to the Red Lands show in Florida you might be able to get a Bulbo hamelinii from Malala.
