Hi, A while ago I posted photos of my Bulbo. maquilingense. Recently it got into flowering mode again, now with 10 inflorescences at different stages. I have been messing around with the flash for the close-ups. Last year when I purchased it, I also acquired two related species, Bulbo. catenulatum, and Bulbo pardalotum. I was a bit suspicious about the identity of the former since vegetatively it looked quite similar to Bulbo. maquilingense (pseudobulbs close together). Anyway, recently it produced a flower stalk, and as I had suspected it was indeed a Bulbo. maquilingense. There are some minor differences between the specimens, this one appear to have more red colors, and a wider lip. Even though my Bulbo. pardalotum hasn't flowered yet, I am sure that it at least is no Bulbo. maquilingense ;D Regards, Christer

Awesome pictures once again Christer.
I love this plant, an old friend of mine had one and It just never stopped flowering, it just kept going and going.
Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with some of these species so I can't say much more!

Great photos Christer. I always love seeing photos of the plant AND flowers, not just flowers. Gives a good size reference.
