Hey everyone, I'm almost embarassed to post a picture of this (knowing Linda is going to see it) because the leaf didn't develop very well, but I just love this species. Lepanthes niesseniae Justin

Is that not how the leaf should look, looks like var. wrinklyata ;D
Seriously though, the flower is a beauty.
I looked through my old pics, and came to miss my pleurothallids, and especially the Lepanthes. I will probably try to get my hands on some pleurothallids this year. Although I don't have any room for more plants, these things are no space-hogs, so maybe I can squeeze them in somehow.
Regards,
Christer

haha Awesome Christer. Hopefully my var. wrinklyata goes away once I build a new case for the tube.
I do find that theres always room for Pleuro's, I was at a friends greenhouse that mostly grows the Pleuro alliance and Its amazing how many Masdevallias, Draculas and Pleuros can fit into a 1000 square foot greenhouse haha

Great looking flower, I really like Pleuros and am looking forward to getting more back in my little greenhouse. My favorite was my P. tarantula, it was very cool with tall leaves with four or five small fuzzy flowers that looked like little tarantulas on each leaf.

Do not worry Christer, I can take care of your Bulbos for you, and you have room for Pleurothallidinae. Justin - Perhaps next time iron the leaf before photographing it'? Good to se you got it in flower, have you met Andrea Nissen? Linda

Linda, I did meet Andrea during the summer. She is such a nice person, I got to talk to her for a while after her talk on Columbian Maxillaria and she sold me this plant. I have two of them but the other hasn't bloomed yet. I was shocked at the size of the flower.
Have you got to meet her?
